I got this truck in spring of 2003, it was a mess and didn't run and had more electrical gremlins than ever. It was a 1980
4 wheel drive pickup, origionally had a 4 cylinder and a 5 speed. It had been converted to a 327 and a 350 tranny years ago.
Tires were 39 1/2 inches tall and had a 14 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift.
Engine and tranny were on there last legs when I got it, so I put the drivetrain out of a 79 K5 blazer in it, mated to
the stock transfer case and axles. I rewired the whole truck and made custom power a steering bracket and alternator bracket.
Installed block hugger headers and dual exhaust. It was a huge truck and a fun toy, the door sill was at my chest when standing
next to it.
I sold the truck in December of 2003 to a guy in Texas. The reason I sold it was because the front end was very loose,
tires were shot and wasn't practical to drive. It was impossible to drive the truck straight down the road at more than 30mph.
